According to the Spring Catalog for Random House, the ninth and final installment to the Fate of the Jedi series, Apocalypse, will feature an “extensive excerpt” from the first book of the next Star Wars novel series.
There was no word on how many novels the series will include, who will be penning it, or when it will be set within the galaxy far, far away. We welcome your speculation on our forums, though. Until then, check out page 60 of the Spring Catalog (pictured below) and get those activate brains formulating, hoping, and discussing.
Fate of the Jedi: Apocalypse, written by Troy Denning, is slated for released on April 3, 2012.
