Though Millennium Falcon still has a few days to go until it’s national release, some people have already gotten the book. At the back of it is a wonderful little Fate Of The Jedi blurb which you can read below:
THE FUTURE AWAITS…
It has been two years since the death of Darth Caedus. Chief of State Natasi Daala has ushered the Galactic Alliance into a time of unprecedented calm, and now the entire galaxy stands poised to freely embrace the same enduring peace that Jacen Solo once sought to impose as a Sith Lord.
In this new era, Luke Skywalker finds himself battling for control of the very order he founded. After Jacen’s fall to the dark side, much of the galaxy sees Jedi Knights as rogue soldiers too dangerous and unstable to leave unfettered. It is a view shared by Chief Daala, who has sworn to bring the order under government control–or disband it entirely.
But the greatest threat to the Jedi remains unseen, a faceless menace even more lethal and insidious than the Sith who have plagued the Jedi for millennia. Awakened by Jacen Solo during his five-year odyssey, this hidden peril is reaching out from the darkest corner of the galaxy, assaulting Jedi Knights in ways that Luke has yet to perceive–but which he must quickly thwart if he is to have any hope of redeeming the New Jedi Order.
Don’t miss the further adventures of Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa Solo and Han Solo in the brand new epic series Star Wars:Fate of the Jedi beginning with Outcast by Aaron Allston in bookstores April 2009!
It seems the Jedi are once again faced with a huge threat. This blurb gives a nice glimpse of the upcoming series to fans, so be sure to check it out.

I must say, this blurb is turning the future of Star Wars off for me. Now it looks like Jacen was a Sith even before he became Caedus by awakening this evil in this five year odyssey. Plus, nothing could be more harmful to the Jedi and the galaxy than Palpatine but it looks like they want to change that too! (Next time, I won\’t comment until my emotions become more controlled :))

“looks like Jacen was a Sith even before he became Caedus by awakening this evil in this five year odyssey”
You’re not far wrong, according to Troy Denning, when I asked him: “was Jacen’s fall to the dark side really planned out as far back as The Joiner King?”, he replied: “I started to think of Jacen as having lost sight of the light side almost as soon as I read TRAITOR. By the time I wrote TJK, I very clearly felt in my own mind that Jacen had fallen to the dark side, (though it remained to be seen whether that fall was a result of the events in TRAITOR or of what he discovered on his five year journey). I was about halfway through TUQ when we decided to write LotF, and that was when it was decided that Jacen’s fall was all the way to becoming a Sith.” (http://forums.starwars.com/thread.jspa?threadID=265735&start=180)

Interesting. Yes, Jacen flirts with the dark side in Traitor but if you continue to the Unifying Force, chapter 28 (I believe) Jacen and Luke discuss their philosophies which makes Jacen/Vergere’s views not dark but borderline, almost like Mace’s lightsaber style. I still believe Jacen would never have fallen, but since the authors said he did, he did (maybe they know his character better than I?)

I would not be at all surprised if Jacen fell before Dark Nest during his 5 year journey. I could tell he had fallen just by how he reacted to seeing his grandfathers actions during Revenge of the Sith during Dark Nest. I mean it is not like nobody saw this coming it was so obvious.
Millennium Falcon appears to be setting up the next war. Daala seems to want to have the Mandlorians police the Jedi and their is aperantly a rogue Jedi using powers Darth Caedus used to use, this might explain what Luke and Ben are going to be doing during Fate of the Jedi as well as dealing with the evil Jacen woke up. I hear Daala wants to arrest Luke for war crimes. Nice to see she has not changed at all. I saw this coming too when she said we need a galaxy without the Jedi back in Invincible. New Mandilorian Wars anyone.
My big question is how is the Empire going to fit into this war? Whose side is Jag Fel on? I want to say Luke’s but can’t confirm this yet. I want to see the Fel Empire formed in this series very badly, and I want Jaina to be responsible for creating the Imperial Knights.
.
By the end of this series I want two things to happen.
1 I want Ben to become a Jedi Master hopefully this war lasts more then just over a year, and we have Luke die or retire and let Ben take over his place as leader of the Jedi.
2 I want two see Jag and Jaina form the Fel Empire and , I want to see some of the members of the New Jedi Order break away and join Jaina in the Empire, forming the Imperial Knights.

Well for someone who’s been reading star wars novels for 10 year I think this pretty pathetic. I barely swallowed the ending of LOTF now their making another series with the same story line of a hidden threat. And the books are all hard covers! What are they nuts? Luke, Han and Leia should have gotten a happy ending after Visions of the Future, but instead Del Rey will keep it going as long as they can.
