Star Wars Books Facebook news

This week saw the release of Paul S. Kemp’s novel Riptide (read William’s review here), but there are still lots of other books coming up in the pipeline to look forward to! As always, the Star Wars Books Facebook page is doing its best to give fans teasers and the latest information.

REVAN EXCERPTS

The Star Wars Books Facebook page released the second mini-excerpt from Drew Karpyshyn’s upcoming novel The Old Republic: Revan.

“It’s not enough to secure your silence through threats and blackmail. When we finally move against the Emperor, I want you on our side.”

“And how do you intend to convince me?”

“Have you ever heard tales of the Emperor’s childhood?”

Scourge shook his head. “I don’t even know what planet he’s from.”

“Few people do. He’s hidden his past, because if the truth came to light none would follow him.”

The Star Wars: The Old Republic Facebook page also released a teaser from the novel.

When he played the holorecording he’d made of the red- skinned man who’d taken Revan off the ship, Bastila gasped.

“I guess the Sith aren’t as extinct as the Jedi thought,” Meetra said.

“The Order is wrong again,” Bastila muttered. “Big surprise.”

Revan will be released on November 15 in hardcover and ebook formats.

SHADOW GAMES EXCERPT #2

Random House released an excerpt from Shadow Games by Michael Reaves and Maya Kaathryn Bohnoff, coming November 29 in paperback and ebook formats. You can read the excerpt from the standalone thriller here.
