LucasBooks’ executive editor Sue Rostoni announced on the Star Wars Message Boards that Elaine Cunningham’s post-Legacy of the Force novel, featuring Zekk a main character, Blood Oath, has been pushed back from April to December 2009 because “the manuscript hasn’t been delivered yet — it just got to be too late to make the deadline, so we moved it.” Sue adds “I feel badly because the story, as you know, takes place before Outcast so we wanted it to come out as close to Outcast as possible… but it didn’t happen”.
Speaking of Outcast, Sue also updated her blog entry about the novels of Del Rey’s new contract, giving fans a little more information about the Fate of the Jedi Series.

Thats really to bad, its going to be a long wait.
well this sucks two books in two months did sound to good to be true but serously why wait ontill december next year? Well this is really going to limit what they can do with Zekk and the twins in the early books of Fate of the Jedi Damn I thoght I was going to be EU happy for two months next year I guess we will have to wait a lot longer then expected to findout what happened to pretty boy Zekk and to think I was actually starting to look forward to april this is a shame one hell of a delay I wonder what the big deal is well this sucks but these things happen I guess hopfully we do not have to wait tell next chrismas
