Chris Trevas, one of the illustrators of Jedi vs. Sith: The Essential Guide to the Force, has just started his own blog on Starwars.com. In his first post he goes into detail about seven of his illustrations from the book. Here is a short excerpt:

“Darth Revan and Darth Malak -
I’ve read lots of fans trying to guess exactly where the two Sith lords are in this illustration. The truth is, I have no idea. I made up the background - I think of it as an old Sith temple. I really just wanted a huge window in a big open space and dramatic beams of sunlight to give the scene a warm hue. ”
