Jaina Solo has long been a fan favorite among Star Wars Expanded Universe fans, but recently fans have felt she was not getting the characterization and time she deserved.
Well, that will likely change now, given that Jaina will be staring in her very own novel trilogy. The novel series, titled Sword of the Jedi, will explore Jaina Solo’s adventures as well as life in the galaxy far, far, away not too far after the events of the Fate of the Jedi series.
Penned by author Christie Golden, who had previously worked on the Fate of the Jedi series, the trilogy has no release dates yet. The concept was very well received by fans at Star Wars Celebration 6, where Sword of the Jedi was announced, and both Golden and the Del Rey crew seem very excited about the next big step forward in the Expanded Universe.

Omg jaina solo is so amazing and impossibly beautiful I can’t wait she’s my favorite female star wars character next to mara (except she’s dead now.) I like jaina better than leia or padme And I really hope she has some kids soon before allana gets too old, And I think she should have twins one boy one girl, and she should name the boy jonash (han solo’s fathers name.) But omg jaina is the best she’s like hermione granger from harry potter to me- both are strong beautiful and unique female protaganists that i totally love. I can’t wait!!!!
