Although unofficial, cover art of the recently registered Star Wars: First Assualt has hit the internet. Specifically, Xbox.com. Not much is known about the game, but LucasArts registered the trademark for it in August. Judging by the art, which shows rebels and storm troopers clashing at what looks like Naboo, it is quite possible that this is the spiritual successor to the Battlefront series, which fans have been clamoring for.
The “arcade” banner shown above the art means that the game will be going digital, hitting Xbox LIVE Arcade at some point. It wouldn’t shock me if it makes its way to PlayStation Network as well. Hopefully this leak means we’ll get more info in the near future.
