Del Rey’s Star Wars panel took place at New York Comic Con today with a few new announcements:
- The third Rebels book will be a Han Solo book written by James S. A. Correy. The first book in this series will focus on Leia, the second on Luke. The series takes place between Episodes IV and V and was announced at Celebration VI.
- John Jackson Miller is writing a novel tentatively titled Kenobi. It takes place after Episode III. Miller says that, “The greatest hero in the galaxy faces his toughest challenge yet: He must stop being Obi-Wan — and learn to live as Ben.” Kenobi is currently slated for a hardcover release in late 2013. Brian joined EUCantina in 2012 as a news reporter. He saw the Original Trilogy when he was so young that he can’t even remember the first time he saw them. His earliest EU memory is listening to audio books of the Jedi Academy trilogy with his family, and since then he has gotten his hands on as much EU material as he can, loving the novels, comics and video games.
