George Lucas and Kathleen Kennedy Discuss Episode VII

StarWars.com has released another video of George Lucas and Kathleen Kennedy discussing the future of Star Wars. This time the focus is on getting started on Episode VII. While they’re coy with specific details, the two mention that they are currently meeting with writers and talking about story ideas and fleshing out Lucas’ treatment for the film. They also talk about what they are looking for in a director. It sounds first and foremost like they want someone who really appreciates Star Wars already and isn’t just looking for a high profile job. Additionally, the role of George Lucas in the new trilogy is expanded upon.
