Wednesday sees the release of the second issue of Brian Wood’s love-it-or-hate-it Star Wars from Dark Horse Comics. While this new comic is a great entry point to the Expanded Universe, some of the more well-versed fans had a few issues with the characterization of characters like Han Solo and Wedge Antilles. Star Wars #2 sees Leia put together a group to help her root out a potential spy, while Han and Chewbacca go toe-to-toe with Boba Fett. With a lot of the set up for the story laid out in the first issue things should start picking up this week.
The final arc of season 5 of The Clone Wars continues on Saturday with “The Jedi Who Knew Too Much.” Since I’m trying to be a Fan Who Doesn’t Know Too Much all I can say about this episode is that it doesn’t look like things are going to go well for Ahsoka. The first episode of this arc, “Sabotage,” was a great Star Wars meets CSI episode, so if you like crime procedurals or are an Ahsoka fan this arc is definitely one to watch.
I’m not going to put up a summary for this week’s The Clone Wars to keep everything as spoiler free as possible, but check out the summary for Star Wars #2 and don’t forget about our EU Release Schedule if you want to see what’s coming up.
