Hollywood.com has a few short interviews with some Expanded Universe authors, including fan-favorites such as Aaron Allston and John Jackson Miller among others, asking what they hope to see in Episodes VII – IX. The question that will be most interesting to many of you however is what EU characters they would like to see get featured prominently in the new films. In addition to making wishlists involving characters that they like to write, most of the authors expressed a pretty strong interest in seeing the Solo and Skywalker kids get a spotlight, especially Jaina Solo. Who knows, maybe Lucasfilm and Disney will take notice and put her in instead of giving Luke a daughter like previous rumors have said.
