Weekly Releases: March 10th – 16th

If you’re already feeling a lack of The Clone Wars in your life, Dark Horse Comics has you covered. A new digest sized trade paperback, The Clone Wars – Defenders of the Lost Temple releases on Wednesday. Set during season four of the show, Defenders of the Lost Temple almost sounds like a mix between The Clone Wars and an Indiana Jones movie, as a clone trooper takes on a mission that brings him through a booby-trapped Jedi temple. If Mandalorians are your thing you might also want to check this out, as Pre Vizsla, leader of the Mandalorian group Death Watch, is also featured.

Star Wars #3 releases this Wednesday as well. Leia’s undercover squadron has been put together to root out an Imperial spy, but some of her choices may drive a “Wedge” between her and Luke. The pieces are also starting to fall into place regarding Han and Chewbacca’s mission to Imperial Center, so it looks like Star Wars #3 has a lot going for it.

On a mission with a Jedi general, one trooper contemplates his own worth as a clone of the great Mandalorian warrior Jango Fett. As mission leads through a booby-trapped, abandoned Jedi Temple, this one clone will discover who he is and also where he came from when the Mandalorian Death Watch suddenly appears!

Star Wars #3

Princess Leia formed a secret squadron of stealth X-wings to help expose a spy within the Rebel ranks. But taking command puts her at odds with Luke Skywalker at a time they need solidarity more than ever—especially when the spy has alerted the Empire to Han Solo’s latest venture!
