Weekly Releases: April 7 – 13

Dark Horse Comics has two releases this Wednesday, both with an Original Trilogy flavor. Star Wars #4 continues the story of Leia’s undercover squadron and their attempts to discover a spy amongst the Rebel ranks, while Han and Chewbacca face the dangers of an unfriendly Imperial Center (Coruscant if you’re more Prequel minded).

The hardcover collection of the miniseries Darth Vader and the Ghost Prison also releases this week. A follow-up to the popular Darth Vader and the Lost Command series, Ghost Prison was also very well received. Picking up this collection would be a great sign of respect for the Sith Lord that has a very good chance of winning “This Is Madness,” the official Star Wars March Madness competition that ends tonight.

There are a few more comics and collections coming out this month before the release of the next EU novel, Dawn of the Jedi – Into the Void, which comes out at the beginning of May, so take a look at our EU Release Schedule to see what’s coming.

Star Wars #4

As Princess Leia’s stealth squadron lays a trap for the spy within their ranks, she soon realizes that the Rebels are ill prepared for the Empire’s zealous pursuit. Meanwhile, Han Solo flees from the Empire through the lower levels of Coruscant, and Luke Skywalker enjoys being grounded with a female friend . . .

Darth Vader and the Ghost Prison

A traitorous uprising against the fledgling Galactic Empire leaves Emperor Palpatine close to death. Saving the Emperor—and the Empire—appears to be a lost cause . . . unless Vader can uncover the secrets of the Jedi Council and locate the mysterious “Ghost Prison.” Collects the five-issue miniseries.
