EA Lets Go Of Pandemic Studios

Posted January 13th, 2009 by William

In yet another video game developer casualty, reliable sources have told Kotaku that Electronic Arts has let go of Pandemic Studios, a developer they purchased in October 2007.  Pandemic is known for creating Star Wars games like 2002’s The Clone Wars, Battlefront, and Battlefront II.

According to sources, EA did not close the studio, but merely let them go.  They will supposedly get to keep all their original equipment and IPs.  We wish the talented studio the best while they find a new publisher.
