Dave Marshall, editor of the Knights of the Old Republic comic from Dark Horse, has recently given MTV Splash, MTV.com’s comic blog, a nine page preview and article to bring fans towards the upcoming Knights of the Old Republic # 37. The issue will start a brand new story arc in Kotor and Dave explains why we, the fans, should be excited. Here’s an excerpt from Dave’s article:
“You are a Star Wars fan.
Maybe you don’t know it. Maybe you think you’ve outgrown it, or maybe you think it’s outgrown you. There’s so much Expanded Universe to keep track of — everything from movies to video games, spanning thousands of years of galactic history.

Actually, #37 comes out next week according to the comic distributor, Diamond Comics. The issue wasn’t in my pull list or on the shelf, so we’ll have to wait a week. I once asked the comic store employee why they didn’t have it, and they mentioned how sometimes the official site will list when the issue ships to Diamond, then ships to stores a week later.

And the issue is part two of Prophet Motive; this comes from Dark Horse and Diamond, so I don’t know what they’re talking about at theForce.net :S
