New Clone Wars Video Game(s) Coming?

“The Clone Wars” TV show has been doing very well. It should be no surprise, then, that there are two “sources” possibly confirming one or more new games based on the television series that may be coming out this year.

The first is Go Nintendo’s report of Activision’s Europe games for ’09; while Lucasarts would publish it here, Activision would publish it there, as it has done in the past. It states that “Star Wars Clone Wars – new game(s) expected”

The second is a much more interesting “source.” Star Wars podcast Imperial Holonet Radio recently had on voice actress Ashley Eckstein, who of course plays Ahsoka Tano on “The Clone Wars.” In their interview, they started to discuss where she records when she moves and stuff. In part of her reply she said, ” I think there’s a new Wii game coming out that I was able to do, you know, I think in New York.” Ashley did voice her Clone Wars character in the two other CW games, as well.

We will certainly keep you posted with more rumors and/or news about more possible The Clone Wars games coming.
