According to a rumor on Destructoid, Krome Studios is currently developing Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
While no release date was mentioned, the rumor says that this third-person game will focus on two player co-op. Playable characters include Anakin, Ahsoka, Cad Bane, and more!
Destructoid provides some details on the gameplay:
The game will have a focus on melee combat, complete with upgrades that can be purchased throughout the game. The ability to control droids, such as the rolling Droideka, was also mentioned by our tipster.
If this is true, it sounds like it will be a very fun game. I just hope co-op supports both Xbox LIVE/PlayStation Network and local splitscreen. We’ll bring you more news as we receive it.
