Original Story:

A few weeks ago, EUCantina.net reported on the possibility of a new Clone Wars game entitled Republic Heroes. Apparently being developed by Krome Studios, the game would be a 360/PS3 co-op experience.

EW.com was informed that Star Wars: The Clone Wars– Republic Heroes is indeed coming, with a release date of September 15, 2009. Republic Heroes takes place between seasons 1 and 2 of the animated Clone Wars series and will feature a wide range of playable heroes, including Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Mace Windu, Kit Fisto, other Jedi, as well as some of the clone trooper characters such as Rex and Cody.

You’ll be able to play around with lots of force-enhanced powers and, as previously thought, work your way through the game cooperatively with a friend. The game will be available on the 360, PS3/2, Wii, DS, and PC.

Be sure to check out the Announcement Trailer for a look at the gameplay and graphics for Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes. Also, keep checking theclonewarsgame.com for more information about the upcoming game.
