New SW Comic Project Coming?

A few days ago, our friends over at Galactic Binder posted an interview with Dark Horse’s editor of Star Wars comics, Randy Stradly. In that interview, Stradley mentions that the only teaser for any future Star Wars comic projects was “Lone. Female. Jedi.”

I, personally, didn’t make note of it. Until, that is, I read NJOE’s Corax’s post about it. According to NJOE.com, Tom Taylor, the author writing the just released Invasion comic, has been hinting at a Star Wars project he’s been doing for months. Could this be the same thing Stradley hinted at in the interview?

Well, according to Stradley: “Don’t get too excited — the book (assuming it actually happens) is in the early, EARLY planning stages at this point. I just wanted to tease you because I know how you love to speculate. Have fun, but don’t get too invested in any of the ideas you come up with.”

At this point, we can’t confirm if Tom Taylor will be writing the “book” ( often trade paperback in comic lingo). However, there is something coming and it may be written by Tom Taylor. We’ll let you know more as the story develops.
