Live-Action Director Known?

Posted February 28th, 2008 by Andrew Lupi

Today, in the Liverpool Daily News, it was hinted that Jim Marquand, son of Richard Marquand-who directed Return Of The Jedi- will be directing the upcoming Star Wars live-action series. Here’s an excerpt:

“Jim……. made his directorial debut with Dead Man’s Cards, also filmed in Liverpool.

It so impressed legendary Star Wars creator George Lucas, that he asked Jim to direct episodes of the eagerly-anticipated Star Wars television show next year.”

According to Jim (no pun intended), “we will be working on filming as soon as possible.” For the entire article, head over here, for the story on the newspaper’s website. This is very exciting, and you can look forward to our Knowledge Center to be updated with more news as it comes.
