Although it’s possible we’ll see more news out of last week’s Showest, we thought a nice little wrap-up of what news of the Clone Wars and Live-Action series came out would be nice.
Clone Wars News:
So, from all the articles and such we got, here are the main, new facts we learned:
- Boba Fett will be making appearances in the Clone Wars Series
- The show is expected to go on for 5-6 years
- The show itself starts in October on television
- The television show will have the same production value as the movie
- None of the older actors (besides Anthony Daniels) will be returning to voice their characters
- The TV series is “exactly like the movies, exactly.” That means it’s for children and adults alike.
- We will be getting a better feel for the clones and what they think/feel.

Live-Action Series News:
So, from all the articles and such we have we learned:
- The series will likely start in 2010
- George is just starting work on the scripts now
- The series will be “a different world,” with limited main character interaction
- A young Han Solo will not be explored in the series (Sorry, Han Solo fans
) - No network has been decided for the series yet
- There will be 100 episodes “no matter what.”
- The cast has not yet been decided
- Each episode will be an hour long, like most other live-action shows.
