Although it’s possible we’ll see more news out of last week’s Showest, we thought a nice little wrap-up of what news of the Clone Wars and Live-Action series came out would be nice.

Clone Wars News:

So, from all the articles and such we got, here are the main, new facts we learned:

• Boba Fett will be making appearances in the Clone Wars Series
• The show is expected to go on for 5-6 years
• The show itself starts in October on television
• The television show will have the same production value as the movie
• None of the older actors (besides Anthony Daniels) will be returning to voice their characters
• The TV series is “exactly like the movies, exactly.” That means it’s for children and adults alike.
• We will be getting a better feel for the clones and what they think/feel.

Live-Action Series News:

So, from all the articles and such we have we learned:

• The series will likely start in 2010
• George is just starting work on the scripts now
• The series will be “a different world,” with limited main character interaction
• A young Han Solo will not be explored in the series (Sorry, Han Solo fans )
• No network has been decided for the series yet
• There will be 100 episodes “no matter what.”
• The cast has not yet been decided
• Each episode will be an hour long, like most other live-action shows.
