As most readers are probably aware of by now, 2010 will see the release of The Force Unleashed II; what most readers do not know is much about the game (Wish we did..). Recently, however, Lucasarts CEO Darrell Rodriguez sat down with Gamasutra to discuss Star Wars games (and Lucasarts as a whole) for 2010 and beyond. Games discussed included: The Force Unleashed II, The Old Republic, as well as older IPs possibly returning one day.
In the interview Rodriguez does talk about The Force Unleashed II the most and a bit of information can be learned; all the next-gen versions, like with the original, are being made by Lucasarts, while the other versions will be given to others (Krome Studios, likely). At this point, he is very confident TFU II will match, if not beat, the original. Speaking of Krome Studios though, the Lucasarts President also mentioned that Krome Studios, as well as Bioware, are great partners, and we probably should not be surprised to see more stuff from them in the future. The interview, although not filled with Earth shattering news, was interesting none-the-less, and can be read in its entirety here.
