According to the July solicitations for Star Wars comics by Dark Horse, the popular comic series Legacy will be ending this July.
Taking a cue from the also ended Knights of the Old Republic comic series, Legacy will be ending its run with the 50th issue, the final part in a three issue story-arc. The series, written by veteran Star Wars scribe John Ostrander and containing art by veteran artist Jan Duursema will end with Legacy #50– “Extremes,” part 3, hitting stores July 28.
Star Wars comic series left after July will be Dark Times, Invasion, and starting in the fall, Knight Errant.

Yeah, I’m with Mark. I hope this isn’t the end of this time period. Ending KOTOR made sense, and Legacy doesn’t seem so necessary.
I have been one of the few who thought this series would be great from the begining and for the most part have loved the series as a whole this was a shock on Monday I have not been this sad as a Star Wars fan since I heard Del Rey was going to kill off Mara Skywalker this sucks I though Dark Horse was smarter then this the big question for me is WHY WhY are you guys killing one of your best sellers WHY and the way this series is going this could go for another 50 issues until I great a answer to why they are doing this Dark Horse has lost me as a fan good luck guys beacuse I am pretty much gone after July
unless you are rebuting the series of course but I doubt that I had hoped for so much more what a waste I feel like I have wasted my time reading this series Damn it this really angers me
