Straight from the VIP thread at the StarWars.com forums Sue Rostoni informs us of some recent updates to the Fate of the Jedi covers. What does it all mean? Well keep reading to check it out!
“Remember I had said that Saba would be on the back cover of Fate of the Jedi: VORTEX? Well, it didn’t work out. The cover images are posterized from photos, and there aren’t any photos of Saba. The artist and designers at Random House tried for over a month to create a Barabel that would work with the style of the covers, with no success.
So… the back cover character on VORTEX is now the stately Kenth Hamner.
We should have a finished cover for CONVICTION to post in about a month. Tahiri will be on the front cover — don’t know yet who’s on the back.”
Another thing to note about the Vortex cover is that the current Random House listing for the audio book has changed the cover slightly. Does this mean that the front cover with Han has been redesigned? Look for an update as soon as we can confirm it. Below we’ve placed the covers side by side for your own eyes to compare.

That perfect gun is a little distracting, but I guess it would be strange if it was slightly ascew. It’s unfortunate that we won’t get to see Saba, but not really surprising. I think it’s for the same reason why we rarely see pictures of Vergere, they’re both just too alien.
I can’t wait to see what Tahiri’s supposed to look like these days. I was never thrilled with the Final Prophecy cover.

I called the Tahiri cover months ago this does not suprise me I guess we will have her trial in Conviction and I guess she found giluty so the question is going to become is she exicuted I have not been the biggest Tahiri fan in recent years she was cool in NJO but since then she has been hard to like for me and dwelling on Anakin Solo for far too long will she die or will Darkmeld save her I think is the big question here
too bad about Saba I was looking forward to that damn maybe next series if she is still around and not tossed aside so they can kill someone off but I digress
Kenth Hamner diffently not may favorite none Skywalker Jedi espeacalily lately he is a chump and has all but handed Daala the Jedi Temple so far he is not Luke Skywalker that is for damn sure Luke would never put up with Daala’s crap for this long

Conviction back cover Jaina Solo or Jagged Fel
book 8 front Ben Skywalker and Vestara Khai (similar to the Allies cover) or a new Sith charecter that we have not seen yet
Back cover Allana Solo
Book 9 front Jagged Fel and Jaina Solo wedding picture (yeah I went there) I am pretty sure this is where Jagged is going to declare himself Emporer or at least head in that direction but I think his and Jaina’s wedding happens first
back cover Abeloth if she is still alive dead whatever she is or Larsen or Treen
