TFU on Games On Demand and ESB Avatars

Posted May 18th, 2010 by William

Star Wars is taking over the Xbox 360, it would seem.

According to Xbox LIVE’s Major Nelson, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is now available on Xbox 360 Games on Demand.  This means that people who haven’t picked up the game yet – or those who want a second copy – can download the game straight to their console.  All you need is 6 GB of space on your hard drive… no disc required!

Also, on Thursday May 20th, new Star Wars content will be available for your Xbox 360 Avatar!  Gamers will be able to purchased famous clothes and accessories from The Empire Strikes Back. Head on over to StarWars.com to check out the full list and to preview some of the content.

I’m always leery of things being sold online. You know this is the direction they will want everything to go. This offends the bookhound in me, lol. I guess it’s time to TRON up, or ENTER THE MATRIX, or whatever the term is for breaking down and shelling out half a grand on a next gen system. So with today being the day it is, “Who’s buying me one?” :D
