Staying true to their pledge to release more games digitally, LucasArts has just released Star Wars: Empire at War on Steam. EaW is a real-time strategy (RTS) game that received mostly positive reviews when it was released in 2006. Steam users can pick up the “Gold Edition” of the game for $19.99, which also contains the Forces of Corruption expansion pack, adding new heroes, units and planets to the game. Even though Steam has recently become MAC compatible, this release is currently for the PC only.
