Rumor: Force Unleashed II Multiplayer Scrapped

Apparently LucasArts didn’t get Darth Vader’s memo on “No Disintegrations”.  According to gaming site Joystiq, LucasArts has quietly scrapped the multiplayer experience that was rumored to be in the highly anticipated sequel to The Force Unleashed.

According to Joystiq’s sources, the multiplayer aspect was being worked on by Blue Castle Games, a company known for its work on multiplayer aspects of games such as Bioshock 2. Nothing official from LucasArts has been stated yet, and the rumor also states that the cancellation of Battlefront Online and the multiplayer part of The Force Unleashed II are connected.
