Weekly EU Releases: Oct 25th – 30th

What a week has been lined up for you, EU fans out there! Life is good, right? To start things off, the game that has been discussed, debated, and reviewed, twelve ways from Belkadan, is finally here! Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II has hit stores and in turn your consoles - XB-360, PS3, Wii, & PC -which ever your platform now is the time to once more unleash the Force within. Be your own judge, did the game play and the story work for you?

Also out this week, Star Wars: Death Troopers, the first horror novel in the Star Wars franchise. Well, sort of. You could say Galaxy of Fear had some creepy stories or you could say Death Troopers wasn’t as “scary” as described. Either way, if you couldn’t afford the sleek image printed hardcover now’s your time to get the story! It might not have been as scary as I first thought, but Death Troopers was a good book, and will be a paperback that will be hitting my shelf soon, and look out for the Red Harvest excerpt in the back.

John Jackson Miller’s latest addition to the Lost Tribe of the Sith eBooks, Purgatory, has arrived as well! In the fifth story we continue watching the struggles of those poor marooned Sith who became the Tribe, and gain insight as to how they became the Sith fighting Luke Skywalker we know and love (or hate) today. (Fate of the Jedi)

On the Dark Horse side of the universe we have Star Wars Invasion: Rescues #5 and Star Wars: Blood Ties – A Tale of Jango and Boba Fett #3. In Rescues we learn shocking truths, and horrifying answers. How does Kaye deal with slaughtering former New Republic citizens turned mutant Yuuzhan Vong shock troops? And what does “Finn must deal with death on another level, unaware that he has become the enemy’s objective in a new front in the Yuuzhan Vong invasion!” bring to mind for you? Well to get the answers you’ll have to run to a comic store this Wednesday! And if that isn’t enough to get you interested in going to a comic store, in Blood Ties we discover that even though Boba’s found his prey, keeping him alive long enough to learn answers to his father’s riddle might be harder then he first thought. What answers does Connor Freeman have to offer Boba about Jango Fett? Time will tell…

And for our Padawans we have Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Villains: A Pop-up Storybook, which like the pop-up books before it, are a fun way for your little ones to discover fun facts about the Star Wars Universe!

Last but certainly not least we have Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 2 on DVD and BluRay. You might not be able to watch them in a chronological order yet, but with yours in hand you will be one step closer to being able to when the time comes.
