EU fans everywhere rejoice! Nathan P. Butler, creator of the popular Star Wars: Timeline Gold, Star Wars Fanworks.com, and author of the comic “Equals and Opposites,” announced this today on his site:

“Since the end of ChronoRadio in May 2007, we have constantly been asked when or if the series would return. Series creator and Fanworks founder Nathan P. Butler always answered that the series was over and not likely to be resurrected.

With Star Wars being reinvigorated by The Clone Wars, The Force Unleashed, and other major recent events, Butler could not help himself but choose to include much more Star Wars content on his current podcast, The Butlerniverse.

In an unusual turn of events, though, Butler has decided to create a group of “subseries” for The Butlerniverse to cover different kinds of material. Star Wars continuity material, the heart and soul of ChronoRadio (2002 - 2007) has been given its own subseries of The Butlerniverse, known as . . . ChronoRadio: Series 2.

So, fans of the classic fan-made radio show can sit back and enjoy ChronoRadio’s return as a part of the Butlerniverse podcast series.”

You can download the first episode of ChronoRadio: Series 2, which is a review of the recently released Clone Wars movie, here and also listen to the previous 29 episodes of the Buterniverse here. EUCast is no longer the only EU-based podcast on the web, and it’s great to see!
