A big deal has been made (yes, mostly by us - guilty as charged) about the upcoming appearance of Quinlan Vos in Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Originally his appearance in the third season was a rumor and some guesswork based on a The Clone Wars style action figure of Vos coming from Hasbro (reported by YakFace.com). With the knowledge that Vos would appear in the November 12 being revealed in the latest Star Wars Insider, an increased amount of speculation has begun. Today, a clip from the episode, which is titled ’Hunt for Ziro’, had been released.
Is this how you pictured the famous Jedi Master from the Expanded Universe? Let us know in the comments!

Not to nitpick, but…credit where credit is due. Dan Curto from Rebelscum first reported that Quinlan Vos was scheduled to appear in a Hasbro TCW line, which gave rise to the original discussion of his series appearance.

I think he looks pretty spot on as far as dress wise from first impressions looking at the clip. I think they used the phantom menace scene he was in for the basis of the charcter model although he does kind of resemble dave filoni a little
Sorry Eric, but in our first report on the action figure, we cited Yakface.com, which was indeed the first place I had heard about it. They didn’t mention Rebelscum, so I assumed it was their story. They also included images of the figure that are not in the Rebelscum story you linked to. I will again assume, because I think that Yakface and Rebelscum are very credible toy websites, that both may have learned the same information at the same time, and not from each other, meaning both are worthy of the link. Either way, the picture of the Vos figure we have in our first post came from Yakface, making them the source for that photo.
Actually, here’s TFN’s article on the figure from back in August: http://theforce.net/latestnews/story/Quinlan_Vos_To_Join_The_Clone_Wars_133565.asp
The report of the figure with the images was a separate story from the list of figures on Rebelscum.
Hard to remember when everything gets reported, so I’m sorry for any confusion. Looking back helped. :)
Eric, we source the first site we find that posted the original story. So if Site A posted about it first and Site B picked it up, we’ll cite Site A.
In this case, Big Shiny Robot and Rebelscum both got the press release. Rebelscum may have posted it first, but that’s not where we saw it first. Thereforce, Big Shiny Robot was listed as the source.
In fact, there have been many times where we posted news long (sometimes days) before TFN, yet we are rarely cited as the source. So we’ll definitely give credit where credit is due… as long as it truely is due.
