It’s that time again EUCantina and Star Wars Expanded Universe fans around the globe! SoloSound.net proudly presents this week’s releases for your listening pleasure. If you did not know, Solo Sound is EUCantina’s sister website. It hosts 6 original Star Wars podcasts, with a total of 11 different hosts. EUCast and The EU Review focus on the Expanded Universe, while We Talk Clones reviews each episode of The Clone Wars. Cantina Commentaries are running commentaries of the Star Wars films, The Bothan Report, covers top Star Wars news once a month and our newest podcast, SoloSound Audio Dramas are productions by various podcast hosts and guests. There’s no schedule for the release of the audio dramas, with new ones being released as they are completed. Audio dramas can be based on anything: short stories, fan fiction, and more.
This week on EUCast, the hosts smuggled in special guest John Jackson Miller into the EUCast studio to talk shop. They discuss Knight Errant: Influx, the comic series and book of same name, as well as the Lost Tribe of the Sith and more!
The Shiny boys of the 212th, better known as the We Talk Clone guys, discussed the latest The Clone Wars episode Assasin, where Ahsoka Tano has to decipher premonitions about Aurra Sing killing Padme Amidala.
Meanwhile the SoloSound Gang has been busy behind the scenes getting their latest “SoloSound Audio Drama” Rest Thou Softly, by Jedi Rita, ready for your ears. The story features Cin Drallig as he faces off against his most formidable foe yet; Darth Vader before his fall…. Be sure to check out this great FanFic come to life! The author did her homework, EU fans will recognize parts of this story from both the Novelization of Episode 3 and from scenes in the Dark Nest Trilogy.
