Troy Denning was awesome enough to drop by the Official Site message boards’s Book, Comic, and TV forum to address questions about his recently released Invincible novel. Now, he probably won’t answer many, but you can get your answers in here and read one interesting theory… about his past works perhaps connecting to his present works. SPOILERS BEWARE

Now, if you haven’t checked out our TFU Fact Thread you may not know this, but Senator Bail Organa will be making an appearance in The Force Unleashed. According to Adam Kahn, the PR for TFU at Lucasarts, he will indeed be voiced by actor Jimmy Smitts, who played the Senator Organa in Episodes II and III.
Many are wondering if his characters and himself will be in The Clone Wars due to his apparent importance during the time period. This is unknown at the time, but Jimmy will be Bail in The Force Unleashed.
Many thanks to our friend Mike for pointing this out to us.

According to our friends at NJOE, the Random House Site has the paperback reprint of the ninth and final LOTF novel, Invincible, slated for December 30, 2008. If you recall, James Luceno’s Millenium Falcon is to be released that day as well. It is likely that this is to draw people to read that then Falcon, as it is set two years after the events of Invincible (43 ABY). No information on what, if anything, will be included in the back yet though.
Our Release Schedule has been updated with this information for your convenience.

According to a Lucasarts statement regarding the multiplayer ability of The Force Unleashed:
“To be specific, there’s no multiplayer in the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions, because there is on the Wii, PSP, and DS. As far as specific reasons are concerned, we don’t really like to get into the reasons why we don’t do things because I don’t think there’s really a satisfactory answer that people would really be happy with. So, there isn’t multiplayer and that’s kind of how it is… ”
This is kinda disappointing. I was expecting at least online play….. What do you say?

According to our friends at TF.N, while game may not initially have a multiplayer, we could see a patch by Microsoft early next year that will enable TFU to have Live, thus, a multiplayer. Possible downloadable characters include Quinlan Vos, Mara Jade, Assaj Ventress, Jedi Leia, A’Sharad Hett, Qui-Gon, Cin Drallig, Darth Desolous, Darth Maul, Count Dooku, Jedi Brute (from the ROTS), Anakin, Yoda, Mace, Ben Kenobi, Luke, Vader Paplatine, characters from the Legacy series and more. A lot of EU goodies seem certain, if this is true.
At this point we’re being told three patches are being worked on, but all this is currently a rumor. We will try and get you more information on this from LA or Microsoft. However, if video games recall, this wouldn’t be the first time characters would be patched on Xbox Live, as Battlefront II had it. Also, all current 360 cover art shows the Xbox Live symbol, as seen here.

According to Filmjerk, a movie news site, Star Wars: The Clone Wars is rated PG for: “sci-fi action violence throughout, brief language and momentary smoking.”
I can see it now: Obi-Wan and Jabba sitting around in the Cantina drinking, chatting, and having death sticks that Obi-Wan himself said were ill-fated. Thanks to CJ for pointing it out!

According to NZGamer,
“Our second piece of exclusive information is in regards to the games protagonist, Darth Vader’s secret apprentice. You may not have realized it but he hasn’t been given a name publically, other than the moniker of “Secret Apprentice”. That is until now. Ladies and gentlemen, our anti-hero’s name… is… Starkiller. “
Starkiller sound familiar? This is, of course, the last name that Luke Skywalker was originally going to have, but it seems this may the first name of The Secret Apprentice. We do know, according to project lead Haden Blackman, that the Apprentice does in fact have a name, but we can not confirm Starkiller for you at this time. If you remember, Haden also said on Spike TV a code letter for the Apprentice’s name and it was “S.”

As promised, we contacted Lucasarts to see what the deal was with the name. We got a reply from Adam Kahn, who is the Public Relations over at Lucasarts for The Force Unleashed. He told us:
“I can confirm that “Starkiller” is the Secret Apprentice’s code name in
the game, but we haven’t revealed his real name.”
So, there you go, everyone. Starkiller is the codename that Vader uses most likely to refer to his Apprentice. It is NOT his first or last name, and his real name has yet to be revealed.

Who can you call Stinky?
Jabba The Hutt’s son, actually. According to Amazon’s synopsis of “Watch Out For Jabba The Hutt!“, the son of Jabba is named Stinky. If you recall from the SW CW movie trailer, Stinky will play a pretty important role in the movie and its a possibility he will for the start of the show.
Thanks to Zee Zee for letting us know.
UPDATE:
If you may remember, awhile back our friends over at Jedi News were able to attend a preview of the Clone Wars Legos. What you may not remember that a Hutt minifigure was featured. The name confirmed by WB for that figure was Rotta, although WB and/or Lucasfilm never stated if that was Jabba’s son or nephew, just that the name was Rotta. However, it seems that Stinky may the nickname for Rotta, if in fact Rotta is Jabba’s son.

A few days ago, Game Politics noted that Lucasarts’ name had been taken off the member list of Entertainment Software Association (ESA), which is an U.S. association exclusively dedicated to serving the business and public affairs needs of companies that publish video and computer games for video game consoles, personal computers, and the Internet. They also host and own the yearly video game E3 Media Summit, which has seen many SW games announced and shown.
Because they were taken off the member list, many speculated that Lucasarts would not be attending E3 this year. According LucasArts public relations director Margaret Grohne,
“We can confirm that LucasArts is no longer a member of the ESA.’ ‘As a company we are still committed to bringing consumers the best interactive experience possible and support the ESA’s mission in the industry. LucasArts will be participating in E3.’”
This is good news for those hoping to see more TFU or other game announcements this summer at E3.
