First reported on the Star Wars Action News podcast and then confirmed on the author’s own site, author Karen Traviss will be writing an essential guide to the Star Wars military. We asked Ms Traviss if she knew how it would be formatted/structured and if she had an more information to share and she told EUC that It’s been kicking around on my to-do list for a while and I won’t be starting on the manuscript for some time – I’ve got a queue of novels to get through first. But yes, I know how I’m going to structure it.

This will certainly be an interesting read coming from someone so well versed in the military as Traviss is. More information on the guide when we get it.

Our good friend Nathan Butler asked us to let our amazing readers know that his amazingly helpful “Star Wars Timeline Gold” has been updated, and this time it’s the biggest update to date. To check it out, head over to Star Wars Fanworks and download the newest edition.  This time line is essential for all SW fans and espescially EU fans to catch up or even begin.  Enjoy!

Today I have the great honor and privilege of telling you all that EU Cantina.net has been accepted in to the Star Wars Outer Rim Alliance (SWORA for short). We here at EU Cantina would like to thank all the great people on the council at SWORA for accepting our application to this fantastic new organization and for making it so easy and fun to be a part of. Currently, EUC and our friends at Galactic-Voyage are the only US based websites within SWORA and we will try hard to bring the EU to the masses.  SWORA is a fan network, of a sorts, the purpose of which is to bring fans from different countries together and to enable them to share experiences, knowledge and information about their local Star Wars activities. Be sure to come visit us!
