A large portion of Expanded Universe material can be found in novel or other book style forms. There are currently over 190 different novels, including young reader novels, in the Expanded Universe library. Most of the novels are considered high-canon works, usually placed at C-Canon. Currently, the Fate of the Jedi novel series is on-going for the novels after Return of the Jedi, while Imperial Commando, The Clone Wars novels and others are set before the Original Trilogy. In 2008, Del Rey was given the contract to continue publishing SW novels throughout 2013.
