As work crews finish equipping the exogorths (space slugs) with hyperdrives, Admiral Karath, Carth Onasi, and Zayne Carrick approach the area to board the Arkanian Legacy to see what Lord Adasca has to offer.
Aboard the Arkanian Legacy, Lord Adasca prepares to greet his guests but Jarael grows disgusted with what Adasca is doing and putting Camper through all this so she rebels. However, by a simple threat to Camper’s well-being, Jarael falls back into place.
As Admiral Karath and his group disembark, Jarael greets Zayne and whispers what’s going on to him quickly before Zayne is taken away to a special holding area. Shortly thereafter, another ship docks and Alek disembarks. Rohlan shows up to the reunion to inform Adasca that the contact has been made and it worked just as planned. As Alek is escorted to the meeting place, Adasca is informed of another Jedi arrival and believes it is the Revanchist leader and meets with him in private to find out it is Lucien Draay. Adasca is surprised to see his old friend but doesn’t have the time to deal with him with an important meeting to begin shortly. Adasca tricks Lucien into a drink and the Jedi loses consciousness to remain out of the way.
In the observation room, Admiral Karath and Alek learn what Adasca is planning to do with the exogorths. Admiral Karath works on getting Adasca some kind of financial or political deal while Alek says the Jedi would know what best to do to remove the exogorths from the picture. As the debate heats up, the final party arrives: the Mandalorians. With Karath’s and Alek’s outrages, Adasca reveals he is no longer looking for contracts but allies. Elsewhere on the Arkanian Legacy, Lucien awakes to find himself surrounded by HK-24 droids with blasters aimed at him and the prisoner he is also tied to: Zayne Carrick!
Once Mandalore boards the Arkanian Legacy, it isn’t long for Alek and Karath to turn their weapons on their enemy. Adasca calms the situation and instructs his men to start the demonstration. Mandalore meets with Rohlan to have him dawn Mandalorian armor which all Neo-Crusaders wear in order to bring the Mandalorians under one control: the word of Mandalore.
Jarael sneaks away from the scene to talk to Camper who has a communicator in her bracelet. He warns her to get off the ship as quickly as possible and that Adascorp is the one responsible for all the diseases infecting the Offshoots on Arkania. Adasca intervenes and starts pounding on Jarael before Alek’s blue blade appears at Adasca’s throat. Adasca threatens Camper to finish what he’s started or Jarael will be the next in line for Offshoot experiments.
In the special holding area, Lucien once again lectures Zayne on how they’ve foreseen him becoming a Sith but Zayne replies that the dark side can stay with Lucien. Zayne learns Lucien’s and Adasca’s past friendship and the two fight against the HK’s when the next feeding comes. Once freed, Lucien finds his blade and tries to strike Zayne down but Zayne blocks with his phrikite vambraces on his forearms. Lucien gives Zayne a blaster and states they’ll finish once Adasca is dealt with.
Back on the observation deck, the attendees watch as exogorths feed on a large planetoid. Carth Onasi sneaks off as Mandalore makes and offer to Adasca to get the exogorths: Adascorp would be the sole supplier to all the Mandalorian clans and would profit immensely once the Republic is destroyed. Alek and Karath of course protest.
Elsewhere in the Arkanian Legacy, a sample of Jarael’s blood has been analyzed and houses a secret that Eejee is sent to find out. However, the lights in the room dim and a shadowy figure kills both Eejee and the scientist to protect the truth.
While the Mandalorians, Karath, Alek, and Adasca continue to negotiate, Zayne and Lucien learn what Adasca is doing and meet up with Carth. Rohlan also stumbles across them and Zayne puts together a plan to save Camper and Jarael and make sure no one gets the exogorths.
As Karath considers what to do and Mandalore and Adasca start talking more details, Zayne, disguised as a Mandalorian bumps into Carth and the two start getting into a fight, sparking off the entire room into a blaster fight. Lucien and Alek join in as Jarael is freed and grabs a nearby guard’s staff.
When Camper receives word of Jarael’s safety, he takes control of the HK droid and exits the ship with the Last Resort leaving the docking bay aboard the Arkanian Legacy. Camper boards the Last Resort and controls the exogorths to destroy the Arkanian Legacy.
Camper tells Jarael his good-byes as he leads the exogorths to deep space and plans to remove their hyperdrives. As Zayne looks for a way off the Arkanian Legacy Lucien shows up and offers him and his friends transport away but another ship rams the Arkanian Legacy and Slyssk steps out revealing that Gryph is alive and leading the resistance on Taris. As Zayne, Jarael, Rohlan, and Alek board Slyssk’s rescue ship, Lucien tells Zayne he can’t run forever.
