Here at the EU Cantina.net we strive to get you the easiest way to learn about and love the Expanded Universe. That’s why we have timelines for each section of the EU for you set up below. Please be sure to contact us to add something, fix something, or just lend feedback and/or suggestions on the timelines and how they are put together.

Literature:

Our Expanded Universe is mostly comprised in the form of novels and other works of literature. Therefore, it is essential for all readers, new and old, to be aware of when a work takes place within the galaxy far, far away. Below is a time line that place the works of literature (canon only). Each book has their own page with a summary (older titles have the simple publisher’s summary) and a review of the piece.

Comics:

Of course, if you’re a fan of the Expanded Universe of Star Wars you’ve probably read (or at least know of) the comics and graphic novels created to visualize the galaxy. For a long time we’ve seen them scattered over the internet and now you can see them in chronological order. Below is our time line of the comics. It is organized by series, going into the series individual arcs. Each arc will have a publisher summary and review.

Video Games:

Another very large current part of the Expanded Universe are the video games. Produced by Lucasarts, these video games have been popular among fans ever since the arcade games in the 80’s. Below is a time line of all canon video games, arranged in System/Year, as well as by era.

Various Media:

The last major section of today’s EU is in the form of various media. That included the television series, and is set up by era, show, and individual episodes. We look forward to adding the episodes of the upcoming Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Live Action Television show.
