Forum Exclusives

Old Master Ben Administrator Joined: 10 Nov 2007 Posts: 2254 Location: Georgia Something I've been wanting to do for a while is give everyone some extras from EUCast. The EUCantina.net Blogs are currently being renovated, but once they're done, I'll have a blog to post special EUCast things such as extra bloopers, songs, videos, and more! Until then, I'll use the forum as a place for these "exclusive extras." The first thing I'd like to show you is a project that our own Autobon (Ted) has been working on for a few weeks. Instead of using Star Wars music that is copyrighted, we decided to go the safe route and and create our own theme music. Autobon wrote and recorded all of the music, using the computer and real instruments. I'm going to give the whole song here for everyone to listen to; in the episodes our voices will always being going over it, which is a real shame. So, while you wait for the next EUCast episode (yes, we do plan to release more ) take a listen to the EUCast Theme. A prize goes to the person who can identify all of the Star Wars pieces of music used. (Be sure to turn up your bass levels. If you do, just download it and it should be fine And say thanks to OMB, Son of Skywalker, and Aush because they came up with a lot of ideas and tips (such as using the electric guitar) Good luck on guessing what songs are used, lol

However, I can tell you a good reason why. Austin (that's me) has been sick with a cold this entire weekend. At some points, I felt fine, and could have recorded. However, as the sound guy, I had some technical difficulties. I sounded like I had a broken nose. No, really. I woulb talk libe dis. All show. It would be like: "Dis is EUCast, ebisode fiby-three. The official bodcast of the EUCantina.net." So, as I don't find that to be very pleasant, we've postponed it. Also, a short bit of news. We will not have all of the regular hosts next week, but we do have someone scheduled in. That way you don't get bored with just two of us. More on that in the show. Cheers!

Old Master Ben Administrator Joined: 10 Nov 2007 Posts: 2254 Location: Georgia Alright everyone, back with a super-cool exclusive this time. EUCast will be Live every Thursday at 7:00 EST. Not just live audio, but live video of your three hosts. Video will switch between all three hosts together, or each one alone. Much more stuff will happen, but that's going to be saved until later. Don't look for EUCast Live yet, we're still putting up the pages and testing the software, but this is a special first announcement for all of our fans on the forums.
