In America...

As most of you probably know, I live in Canada and I know most of you live in The Land Down South. So I have some questions about America that I've been wondering:
1. If you buy a book (among other things) in Canada it has both the American and the Canadian price. Is it the same down there?
2. This probably depends on where you live. Do you ever get snow in early April? We got some a couple weeks ago.
3. Is it true that you guys think of us as dim-witted?

1: Yes, our books do the same thing.

2: I don't get snow any month of the year in Florida. Laughing

3: No, I don't think the general consensus is that Canadians are dim-witted. It's true, you are played that way as stereotypes in the media sometimes, but I don't think the public believes that at all.

2. I live in Kansas and our weather is schizophrenic so sometimes we do indeed get snow in early April

3. No one I know actually thinks Canadians are dim-witted. I am, however, an avid South Park fan and they sometimes portray them that way. And my apologies if you take offense but I have indeed laughed at a few of their Canada jokes. However, the only consistant Canadian character (kyle's little brother Ike) is awesome. He's funny and in their ocean's 11 parody he was the mole and really smart and tricky and quite a genius so there are also positive portrayals. I personally have considered moving there before so I pose to you Reep my own question...

What would be the positives of moving htere? Feel free to stick that in another thread if necessary to any Mods or Admins out htere.

Sometimes we get snow in April here in Missouri. It's not common though, usually March is the last call for snow.

And I don't think Canadians are dim witted. And I haven't gotten that vibe from American media either. Though when I think of Canada, I tend to think of huge forests. I don't know how accurate that is, or why, but I do have that mental image of vast forests.

Here's a question for you Reep. Do they have Candaian Bacon up there? Or Walmarts, do you have any Walmarts in Canada?

Yes, we have tons of Wal-Marts. We have some pretty awesome bacon here as well. There are lots of forestry up here, but not where I live.
Well, Caedus, some pros of living in Canada are:
1.No guns (hunting aside).
2.Fantastic scenerey.
3.Snow! (and we do NOT live in igloos)
4.Diversity

And just a fact we Canadians are quite proud of: We have the largest English population that never ever surrendered or withdrew during any war to anyone, anywhere. EVER.

Well perhaps. But if firearms were banned, only the bad guys would have them. Because you know full well that they'd get their hands on them somehow, leaving the lawful citizen unable to own a gun defenseless. That's just the way I look at it.

This should probably be in a different thread, but I think global warming is a myth. Its a conspiracy by the Sith to make sure we don't have lightsabers so that when they invade we'll be unable to defend against them!
