The vid for the game looked intriguing. I could see myself playing it. The real question will be whether it's rental material or whether it's worth buying. It's all about the replay value.

Hmm...I dunno. It was kind of vague on the details, and I'm not sure it looked any different. No amazing new appeal. Not that I'll be able to play it anyway, but just saying. See...I loved the Lego Star Wars games. I have both for the PC (and the Indy one, as well) and absolutely love playing them. While the Force Unleashed was cool, it didn't seem like something you could play more than a couple times. And that's kind of what this reminded me of. I dunno, though. Maybe once there's more of a trailer it'll be easier to tell. *shrugs*

I'll be renting it for my 360, and based on that play-through buying it. If it's really good, I'll probably grab it for the Wii, too, just to feel it that way.

It really didnt look all that appealing, in fact not at all appealing........ that said, I will buy it and like it, as I do with every star wars game. Because, its Star Wars and that is all that matters Very Happy

Though I do have to say, enough with the clone wars already. I really want to see a game set in the EU or later movies.

*whispers* Yuuzhan Vong game...

I wonder if the game will follow season 1? Kind of a "You've seen the episodes, now play through them!" deal. That could be fun. If not, then I guess the missions will just kind of be crammed in there. Plus with the kiddie aspect they like to push into the series, that makes me worry they'll do that here. Technically they can do it and still make a very fun game, but they have to be careful about it. The Legos games worked. A campy Clone Wars game might not.

I would personally like it if they updated some of the classic games (X-Wing, Jedi Knight/Dark Forces).

On this game I just have to say this: when I saw the title it just struck me as a title ripoff of another game, Battlefield Heroes (by EA), that is in the works. Maybe its just me but it seemed kinda weird to have two games in the works sharing similar titles.

Well not as fun as we were hoping- the gameplay is too "you must do it precisely so" And the Anakin sounds like some different person. But the story so far is cool.

So would you say it's a rental or a buy?

Jury's still out on this one. We have it for 5 days, and you have to BEAT things to unlock things- grrr with little kids you NEED invincibility!! Hello! Laughing

But My daughter's Birthday weekend so "Disney Princesses" are beating out the SW games.

My first impression after watching the kids and wife was this doesn't look fun then I played it- at first on the Wii - it's hard, they want you to do the specific "hit this" stuff, but Yoda keeps popping up with the same instruction making you stop hit another button then jump before you fall again. Or your PC partner kills the droids you NEED to take control of. But I was able to get them past that. But it wasn't very good controler play yet, the last few SW games felt more natural. Plus it had an update that I still have no idea if it messed up my Wii or not....(Cracked) So I'm not sure yet if everything else works yet.

But yeah I've not yet been able to "dive into" this yet, I'll let you all know more later.

Our local game shop was going out of business and I had a boatload in credit that needed to be used. Bought this game at a discounted rate and the cheat book (yes I do cheat. I'm an old man and I need all he help I can get).

Game started out innocently enough but that was five minutes into the game and before that tri-legged droid. That droid is a b!t$h to destroy.

illogicalRogue2 - I am at the spot you mentioned. I too am tired of hearing Yoda tell me every time that I need to do "this" so I can do "that." And, once you get your control back, it's too late to do anything about it.

I would like to enjoy this game but so far, I can't take it back because "All sales are now final." Ugh!

Your frustrated Uncle Kal (must be because of old age -been called a curmudgeon of late). Smile
