Star Wars Battlefront: Elite Squadron

It was quite a suprise to read about SWB: Elite Squadron, and I have to say I am really excited to see what it brings to the Battlefront franchise.

The previous PSP battlefront "Renegade Squadron," also used that "squadron" title. In that game the campaign followed a group of shady characters that were formed into a group of fighters for the Rebellion. This new game keeps the squadron part of the title, but uses "elite" instead. Could this possibly be an Empire focused campaign? If so, I am totally looking forward to this!

Any ideas or reactions to this news?

Sure seems like it, yes. So I'm assuming this was the plan all along?

I believe all versions were being made, but next gen was delayed or canceled. The next gen developer studio "Free Radical" going out of business sure didn't seem to help either.

I so hope they collect those games in a game for a console!
