Will Lucasarts Give Obsidian a Chance with Kotor III?

I 'want' them to be given a shot at KOTOR III, but I can't see it happening. Not anytime soon. All the focus is going to be on TOR and keeping it fun and vibrant. With it filling in the chunk of time that's passed, I'm not sure they'll be any room for a KOTOR III.

I want Obsidian to be given the chance - if it's possible. I voted in the poll that yes if the story allows it, and if KOTOR III can be fitted in the TORverse, then they should do it. Perhaps not as a sequel to KOTOR II, but as a prequel to KOTOR I (set in the Mandalorian Wars etc) or as a prequel to TOR - after all, there's 28 years of war between the Jedi and the Sith first and then this Cold War for 30 years before TOR starts. So, I think that the story allows a single-player KOTOR III based on what we now know.

While I would love to see this happen, I wont get my hopes up. And besides that, even if they started working on it today, we have at least 2-3 years to wait.

I'm going to guess that a true KOTOR III will happen based on whether TOR is a hit or a bust. If it's a bust we'll probably see a KOTOR III/IV (depending on whether you want to count TOR as KOTOR III). If TOR is a hit I doubt they'll go back to single player KOTOR. This all being said I would be very happy if a true KOTOR III came out.
