Hey guys. I just started listening to EUCast last week. I started reading the EU back when Republic Commando: Hard Contact came out. I was actualy more into Rainbow Six and Ghost Recon at the time. The Republic Commando game seemed like Rainbow Six set in Star Wars. So that's what firt got me interested. And when I saw Hard Contact I just had to check it out. I was expecting a lot of action and was surprised at how deep the book was. I liked how Travis took an almost realistic boots on the ground approach to writing the story. And that the Jedi wern't 100% good. It seemed gritty and just different. I wasn't expecting it. So the RC series was just about all I read. The only other Star Wars book I read was Darth Bane: Path of Destruction. It wasn't untill I read RC: Order 66 that I decided to read the books in the order of the Star Wars Timeline.

Thanks for the welcome guys. As far as the name goes. It's DEATH in droid speach. I'm looking foward discussing and getting more info on the EU. I'm enjoying reading The Clone Wars: No Prisoners at the moment. I'm kind of bouncing around the timeline. I also got the Tales Of The Jedi Omnibus Vol. 1 & 2. And just before No Prisoners came out I decided to finaly start on the OT section in the time line and started reading The Paradise Snare. I'm half way through. But whenever a new Clone Wars or Karen Traviss book comes out, I usualy put what I'm reading at the time on hold. So I'll get back The Paradise Snare after I finnish Clone Wars.
