He was in The Mist? Cool, I read that story recently and have been meaning to rent the movie. Now I have a little extra incentive Cool

I love that movie. One of the best of 2007!

It was good, wasn't it? So...does anyone think a Force Unleashed movie would be cool?

I'd be up for any more Star Wars as long as it was well done and Lucas wasn't part of it (no offense to him, but his careless attitude towards canon is getting obnoxious)

exactly! KEEP LUCAS AWAY!!! i think he would approve, though, because its in between ROTS and ANH. it involves Darth Vader and stuff, and its not like they would have to go out of their way trying to cast people-they already have them. We all know how much Lucas hates EU, and since this isnt after ROTJ, he wouldn't get too mad...

I don't think its that he hates EU, I think its that he's more in Star Wars as a business aspect. His Clone Wars franchise has made millions. He just knows how to make stories that sell and cares less about canon. Strangely enough he has to approve of certain things. It was his decision to kill Anakin Solo instead of Jacen. He changed it.

yeah1 didnt he say something along the lines of..."there cant be 2 anakins in my galaxy"?
i find that stupid because didnt he also say that the EU was not his galaxy? i dont think it was right that he just pranced in and told the writers what to do when he was never involved before.

But when I hear what Luceno and everyone had originally plan (such as Jacen being written off), I think it actually turned out even better even with Anakin's death. Also, if Anakin had lived, what would the post-NJO stuff look like instead? (or what would have become of Anakin?...sometimes I'm glad he's removed, along with Jacen now Sad )

Had Anakin lived, I can only imagine that they would have turned him to the Dark Side instead. And I don't know what ya'll think, but for me that would have been so much worse than even Jacen. So my vote goes to the lesser of two evils. Neutral

You know, they could actually just stop picking on the Skywalker/Solo bunch and have turned another character. I almost think turning Tenel Ka would've devastated the galaxy worse. She has Hapes backing her, and the newborn Solo grandchild, so it woulda worked just as well in a different way. Jacen was the perfect jedi by the end of NJO so it kinda annoyed me overall.

I thought it made sense that Jacen would go Sith, because he always wanted more and more and eventually that led to the Dark Side. Probably the reason they keep picking on the Skywalker-descents is because they're so powerful. Whereas Tenel Ka (although it would've been neat to see) wouldn't stand a chance.

See I'd love to see the focus shift. Every single conflict for like 80 years now has centered on the Skywalker family and the Solo family. One family group can't be the only important group in the galaxy. Yeah they lead, but they're down to one kid per family and a Solo grandchild. The big 3 are getting old so it'd be acceptable.

Well the Horns are getting some pretty nice page time in FotJ so far.

True True. I'd actually like to see stuff like Blood Oath. Stuff centered around side characters. Jedi, Mercenaries, Smugglers, that stuff.

Oh yeah, I know. I actually really started looking forward to that and then... yeah. I wonder if there's still any hope.
