Since it was recently pushed back, I figured we can speculate and discuss our thoughts and hopes for the upcoming novel by Matt Stover.

Ah . . right. You know I'm not good with that stuff. Plus, good conversation starter??? Maybe?

But just in case anyone has the same question I had, it's moved to October 21.

I've been excited about this book for awhile. We'll get to see Luke from back when again!

It's right around the time of the game Mysteries Of The Sith.... It's going to be interesting to see where Stover takes. Luke for sure.

Oh, I didn't realize Stover was writing. That's great! I love his work.

Stover's an excellent writer. I loved his novelization of Revenge of the Sith. Very interesting and insightful.

As much as I've come to dislike Jacen now, Traitor was excellent! It's one of the three books in the NJO that I don't have, and I'm very determined to get it soon, although I don't have any money. Bummer. But my point...Stover is a great writer. Now I'm really looking forward to Shadows.

Don't hold anything against Jacen in Traitor for what he does in Legacy of the Force. Traitor is what made Jacen a great Jedi (no, I still don't see Vergere as a Sith even if that's "canon") although his view walks a dangerous line.

I agree Aush . . . there's only a certain amount of canoninity I can accept.

Hopefully Stover pulls off a major work like he did with Traitor. Traitor was the most in-depth and impressive work in the NJO so maybe it'll work out well with SOM. I think it'll be good.
