We have started up the EUCantina Book Club again. We will be starting off from the EU beginning with Darth Bane: Path of Destruction. We will be spending the month of June reading this book.
Please post thoughts and questions as you read. Also NO SPOILERS posted until after the month has passed and everyone has had ample time to read the book. Most Star Wars novels are around 400 pages long, so that averages out to read about 100 pages a week. Use that as a barometer to avoid posting any spoilers.
Also there is a Facebook group page (EUCantina Book Club) that has been created, as well as a Twitter account (EUCBookClub) for those that want to follow along in those forums as well.
EUCantina will be the home base for the book club so check here first for updates and discussions.
The Book Club will read one book a month and will proceed from here in Star Wars timeline chronological order. If a new novel is ever released after we have passed it in the Star Wars timeline, it will be worked in at some point. For example: we will start this month reading Darth Bane: Path of Destruction. Next month will be Darth Bane: Rule of Two. As you may have heard the third Darth Bane novel - Dynasty of Evil, will be released in December 2009. When that novel is released, we will have passed it in the timeline and we will take a break in the timeline to go back to it.
Feel free to provide input so as to improve the quality of the Book Club. Our goal is to have as many people involved as we can and to have some good discussions throughout each month.
