In a round-a-bout way this is Star Wars related, but the movies aren't Star Wars, so I'm sticking it here. Cool

First up, Men Who Stare At Goats. This is a comedy coming out staring George Clooney and Ewan McGregor (starwars connection #1). It'll be out November 6, 2009. Here's the synopsis...

A reporter (Ewan McGregor), trying to lose himself in the romance of war after his marriage fails, gets more than he bargains for when he meets a special forces agent (George Clooney) who reveals the existence of a secret, psychic military unit whose goal is to end war as we know it. The founder of the unit has gone missing and the trail leads to another psychic soldier who has distorted the mission to serve his own ends.

Here's starewars connection #2: George Clooney's character claims to be a Jedi Warrior with Jedi powers Laughing

There's even a third connection: Jeff Bridges character's last name is Jango.

Check out the movie trailer to see for yourself. It looks pretty funny.

Secondly, Carrie Fisher is going to be in the new horror/slasher flick Sorority Row. She did an interview on the Late Late Show which you can catch on theforce.net.

Men Who Stare At Goats looks hilarious, but it looks like it's going to be filled with sexual innuendos and abominations like that. Besides, George Clooney is a knucklehead.

Sorority Row, another stupid horror flick. No thanks... Rolling Eyes

I'll pass on the horror flick, too. Smile

Men Who Stare At Goats looks disturbing, yet hysterical. I'll check out my favorite movie review site when it comes out. It's great for seeing how exactly how many abominations movies contain. Wink

Yeah, I've got no plans to see Sorority Row. But Men Who Stare At Goats looks pretty funny, so I'd like to see that. Don't know if I'll see it in theaters, but I'll most definitely rent it when it comes out.

Yep, it is Plugged In. I live by it. OK, maybe not, but I always check it. Smile
