So with the addition of [url]A new Hope the Life of Luke Skywalker[/url]http://www.starwars.com/vault/books/news20090508ls.html we now have 3 Star Wars Biographies out there.

This thread is dedicated to the biographies. the ones released so far:

The Life and Legend of Obi-Wan Kenobi.
The Rise and Fall of Darth Vader
A new Hope the Life of Luke Skywalker

And to the ones that may come out in the future as well as for ones you'd like to see in the future.

I don't know how likely Dooku is to get a bio, but I know Sidious and Yoda are off limits. We've gotten some glimpses of Mace, so I think he is good as is. An R2 has been covered pretty well. Chewie might make a good bio though.

Han would be cool, but we already have a bit of his history with the Han Solo Adventures by Brian Daley & the Han Solo Trilogy by A.C. Crispin (about a young Han before he meets Chewie[book 1] meeting Chewie & running from Fett & Imperial Navy[book 2], getting the Falcon & meeting Ben & Luke [book 3]). So, maybe one about Chewie would be good. One about Mara Jade would be cool. So would one about Leia.

I'm all for a Mara or Leia bio. Not much has ever been said about their early lives. And, yes, a lot of Han's history has already been established, but I'd kind of like to know what kind of childhood he had before he was picked up by Skrike.

I'm sure we're all shocked by your opinion, Mara. Very Happy

I didn't even think to put Mara up there. Looks like EU choice may lead lol

I voted more on the basis what is possible than what I would like to see, but... Han Solo.

Hmm makes you wonder what GL has instore for those 2? Or is it just one more "he has no idea so everyone leave it" things?

Personally I hope he's got something in store for us!

Though for Bios- I think Dooku may be one we'll see- Legacy of the Jedi and Secrets of the Jedi dualogy had quite a bit added to his past. I could see them giving us Dooku's POV on events as well. Plus if they decided to never do Yoda or Sidious then Dooku is the closest we'd get to seeing the Sith POV- well aside from the Darth Maul journel- which was like these and cool for what it was.

I know there would be alot of objection to this: A Jaina Solo biography. Well, maybe like a Solo kids trilogy biography set. Even just as a collectors item, it would be majorly awesome.

Hmmmm, interesting idea. It might be a little more difficult to write a bio on any of the Solo kids just because there's so much that's already been established about them. I'd sorta prefer a bio that would give us information we don't already have, rather then another book just connecting all the character information together. Then again, not much page time was spent on Jaina, Jacen, or Anakin before Young Jedi Knights. There might be some stories there worth telling.

I like the idea- I just think it should wait until their lives have been fleshed out more. Imagine if the EU got to do with the Solo's what it has for the Skywalker twins 19-25 age range has explored theirs.

They are all so cool I just think it would be great to see new stories and photos of them. With great characters like the Solo kids, you can't let them go to waste, and authors could potentially make them even cooler and have fun coming up with side stories and such in a biography of them. Once Jaina goes ( Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Oh PLEASE no) then this will hopefully be a possibility.

Hey, what's to stop them from releasing an Anakin Solo bio now? It might help ease the pain of fans like myself who are still grieving his death. Sad

Amen, someone start an online petition and I'll help get signatures. There should definately be a biography for the one that Luke called the greatest jedi of our new generation (even if it was after Anakin's death). He deserves at least that after the needless reason they killed him for.
