This is for the Show- anyone watch it?

I'll discuss how I got into it! But not yet....

So I'm more a spiritual person, not so Religious you might say. My wife comes from 7th Day Adventists, My and her Dad's families are Catholic.

While I grew up my parents encouraged my sister and I to seek our own relationship with God. My dad felt that he was pushed to do it so it made him tune out and turn off, and he didn''t want the same for me.

So anyway, this may be why I don't have an issue with it, I have some friends who just won't watch it. Period. Not even try to give it a chance.

I didn't get into this show until it was mid way through it's 3rd season. I was all "nah I'm good". First I caught the "Ground Hog Day Episode" and laughed so hard I almost wet my pants! And then a friend who has never given me poor advice told me to take his copies home and watch it. I fell for it completely.

While I was getting into my wife started to tolerate it (which says something- her mom won't watch it because "Demons are in it.")
Mainly because she thinks Sam and Dean are hunks.

They've made "our list" (a story for another time) so ladies may enjoy the show like she does.

I enjoy the humor and the stories have been enthralling.

THIS IS WHY I love tv on dvd, I hate waiting a week. It's the same with getting the single issue comics. Grrrrr.

Never watched Supernatural, sorry. I'm into the vastly superior show that comes on before it (or did, before they moved it to the Friday death slot), Smallville. Smile
