Well, that's sort of what she did in the deleted scenes in RotS. While I understood that the movie could only be so long, I was annoyed those scenes were cut. It was pretty much Padmé's whole plot, and it took something away from her character in that movie when they went. Not that I didn't still love her. What I loved most about the deleted rebellion plot was that it showed that Padmé certainly wasn't afraid to confront Palpatine or disagree with Anakin about the path the Republic was taking.

Yeah I wished those scenes stayed too. BUt yes along those lines- IMOP it would be cool that she played a bigger role in the senators reasoning to rebel. Because your right, she did have a big spine to defy Palaptine like that. She has the drive to stand up for what she feels is right. _________________
