Star Wars In Concert

Mara Jade Skywalker Master Joined: 15 Feb 2008 Posts: 5359 Location: Beyond Shadows I'm so excited! Star Wars In Concert If I don't get to go to this, I'll be so devastated it won't even be funny. To be perfectly honest, I'd much, much, much rather go to this than Celebration V. Especially since I'd probably have a better chance of getting there. At the moment, the closest scheduled performance will be in Oklahoma City, which is 11 hours away. I'd have to miss 3 days of school, which could be bad. Does anyone have any idea if they're going to expand it toward the East Coast any? Houston, Mobile, or especially New Orleans would be soooo much more feasible. Though I'd drive to OC in a heartbeat if that's what I'd have to do. Although getting the parents' permission would be the trick... However, if it were closer, it would almost definitely be fine with them. And I'm dying to go! The TicketMaster packages look cool. The $403 'Meet & Greet Package' looks amazing, but who really has that kind of coin to spend?

Check out the pictures below for the exciting journey there and back. I just had to pick them up in person. Especially so I could share the experience with all of you. The city from afar as we cross the world's longest bridge: And really, it's the longest bridge in the world. Or it was the last time I checked. The Lake Ponchatrain Causeway. Also, you can see the Superdome on the far right of the group of buildings if you look closely. It's got a white dome. Hard to see against the clouds.
